What you are looking at
This is the working software for a molecular baseline pattern research program — the operational chain from enrolling a participant through to a result landing in the record, with role-based access at every point and a complete chain of custody behind it.
It is a demo in one respect only: every participant, value, clinic and staff member in it is invented. The workflow, the role boundaries, the custody record and the consent gates are the real thing. Every rule you run into is a rule the system actually enforces.
Research Use Only. The program is investigational, clinician-mediated and independent of standard care. It does not return individual results and is not used to diagnose, treat or direct anyone's medical care.
Getting around
- Pick a role. You land on the persona picker. Each card says what that role does and which screens it opens.
- Use the pointers. A callout marks the next meaningful action on each screen. Dismiss it with Got it, or turn them off from the button at the bottom right.
- Follow the i badges. They sit beside things worth explaining and say why that detail matters to someone evaluating the product.
- Switch role whenever you like. Switch role in the top bar returns you to the picker. Roles are not separately credentialed — you stay signed in.
- Refresh to start over. A page refresh restores the seeded data. There is no reset button because reset is the page load.
The eight roles
Intake Specialist
Enrols the participant, captures consent, creates the order. This is the start of the chain and the best place to begin if you want to follow one person all the way through.
Clinic Admin
Clinic-level oversight. Holds the actions that interrupt a chain rather than advance it — deferrals, and consent withdrawal.
Clinic Lab Tech
Scans the draw tube against the order, spins it, and moves the serum into barcoded cryovials. The tube never travels — the aliquots do, and each one carries its own identity from this point on.
Lab Ops
Assembles aliquots into a manifest and ships them. The manifest is de-identified by design: barcodes and quantities, with no participant identity travelling with the box.
Clinician
Order status across the clinic, and the population report. Findings are reported across the cohort and never returned to an individual, which is what keeps the research defensible.
Lab Admin
Receives the shipment, confirms what arrived against what was sent, accessions what it accepts and rejects what fails inspection. Rejection is part of this demo rather than an edge case hidden from it.
Lab Tech
Uploads the result. It lands against the accessioned aliquot, not against a person — re-association happens only where role and consent both permit it.
Compliance
Reads the whole record back: the audit trail, the chain of custody, and the consent record. If you only have time for one role, make it this one — it is where the other seven become evidence.
The chain, in four stages
The participant is enrolled and consent is captured — in person, or handed to the participant's own phone. Nothing downstream moves until it is signed.
The draw tube is scanned against the order, spun, and aliquoted into barcoded cryovials.
Aliquots are assembled into a de-identified manifest and shipped.
The receiving lab confirms, accessions, rejects what fails, and uploads the result.
Running alongside all four is the Compliance view, where the whole chain can be read back in one place with actor, role, time and cause on every hop.
The two surfaces
The Program Portal
The desktop, staff-facing console where most of the demo lives. All eight roles work here.
Open the ConsoleThe prospect app
The participant's own phone view. In this demo it does one job: mobile consent signing — the console issues a QR code, and the phone reads the statements and signs them. In the live portal that signature returns to the clinic's record as it happens; in this demo the two surfaces run independently, so you see the participant's side rather than both ends at once.
Open the prospect appQuestions people usually ask
Can I break it?
No. Refresh restores the seeded state, and your session is yours alone.
Why can't I see a screen another role had?
That is the point. Screens closed to your role stay listed but locked, so you can see the shape of the access model rather than guess at it. Clicking a locked item tells you who does hold it.
Where are the individual participant results?
There are none, by design. The program does not return individual results during this phase, so no role reaches an individual report and no link exposes one.
Can participants do any of this themselves?
In the live portal, yes. Once the clinic sends a participant a secure link, they can complete the whole intake form independently, as well as sign consent on their own phone. This demo shows staff-led enrolment because that is the path that exercises the role boundaries — self-service intake is deliberately out of scope here, not absent from the product.
Is any of this data real?
None of it. Every name, value, clinic and staff member is invented for this demo.
A sales demo. Every value, result and person in it is synthetic and illustrative. Research Use Only.
